Tuscany, Italy - Day 6: Departure Morning
Pienza & Val d'Orcia

As I woke up on the morning of my departure and opened the curtains, I was taken aback by what I saw. Oh, my God! What happened? Am I dreaming? White mists were lying in the valleys. I took my camera and went outside right away.

Sea of cloud! This didn't happen yesterday morning. Wondered how it had happend. Anyway, I felt so lucky to have been able to see the unbelievable world of fantasy on the last morning of my last day in Tuscany. It also made me wonder if the heaven was just like this. Anyway, the Val d'Orcia has many faces.

And before I left Pienza, I strolled along the Via del Casello in the sheer peace and quiet of the morning. Another clear fine day has broken, and the sky was so blue. I bade farewell to Pienza at the Piazza Pio II, and headed for the Eternal City.
To be continued for the Eternal City...
