 | It was an eight-hour drive from Lancaster where my English friend lived all the way
to London. I am sure that he got so exhausted! On our way, we stopped in at Stonehenge in Amesbury, Wiltshire. Stonehenge was built from 2800 - 1800 BC. However, answers to such questions as "who built Stonehenge?" "what was it used for?" and "how did stones come from Wales about 200 km away?" are still unknown. Although I liked London, yet I could find the real beauty in the hilly countryside of England. |
