"57th Street" - New York, NY
57th was my kind of street. There was a nice cozy bookstore called Rizzoli on this street where I spent much time after all. A few days back, I had seen a film, "De-Lovely" the life of my very favorite songwriter Cole Porter. I found a book of his memoir at this store, so I bought it. Then, I started walking on 57th street and I soon found a show window of Steinway, the world's premier piano manufacturer. There was no way I could possibly ignore this building and entered it.

The staff here were all very friendly and I saw so many kinds of the grand pianos manufactured a century ago up to now. There were a statuette of Chopin and found portraits of Rubinstein and Rachmaninoff. The piano factory seems to be in Long Island.

Outside right across the street, I was pleased to find Carnegie Hall. This street turned out to be full of my surprises.
