During my stay in New York this time, I went to several third wave coffee shops throughout Manhattan. Of all of the coffee houses I visited, Stumptown was the best.

I liked the décor - lots of lights and high ceilings. The staff were friendly. Above all, I loved the location. It’s very close to Washington Square Park and New York University.

There were apparently lots of NYU students and the place was very comfy.

I normally order hot latte at coffee shops, but it was so hot everyday while I was staying in New York, I wound up having another Iced-Latte. It tasted good and very refreshing though.

By the way, I stayed at a hotel right next to Bryant Park this time. My room had very nice views of Bryant Park. The park is small, but is one of my favorite parks in New York.

New York Public Library could be seen from my room.

Before heading to JFK, I had a breakfast at Whole Foods, just a few-minute walk from my hotel. After grabbing a latte at another third wave coffee shop, Allegro, I ascended to the second floor where its buffet was served.

As it was so early, there were few customers yet and I took a window seat with views of Bryant Park, New York Public Library and traffic on 6th Avenue. It was nice and quiet. The weather was so pretty. The foods were amazing. It was so pleasant.

Another morning has just begun in New York City.
