| Since I first came to Warsaw, Poland in 1998, I have visited Poland several times, but this year was special. 2010 marked the bicentennial of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin. As I arrived at Warsaw Chopin Airport waiting for my luggage in the baggage claim area, there was a huge electric poster of Chopin saying "Enjoy it! This is my year." |

And near my hotel I was staying, the huge poster of XVI Międzynarodowy Konkurs Pianistyczny im. Fryderyka Chopina, the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition was placed on the building. |

I picked up the tickets of Chopin Competition at ticket booth of Filharmonia Narodowa in early morning. Since I had booked "Karnet" which is Full-event tickets for all Chopin Competition days, the enveloped tickets they handed to me was quite thick.
