Pałac Kultury i Nauki
The Palace of Culture and Science

Just the day before I departed Warsaw, I checked in the Palace of Culture and Science. Its surroundings had not changed much since 2005, but I wanted to view the city from high above.

Looking to the south down the Centrum, an abundance of trams and buses could be seen.
Looking to the west, there were more high-rise buildings. This area, I think, would be more of the financial district of Warsaw.

Looking in the direction of the Old Town to the north, Teatr Wielki (the Grand Theater) and Ogród Saski (The Saxon Gardens) could be seen.

And looking far to the east over Wisła (the River Vistula), I could see the Praga district where survived the World War II.

Each time I look over the city of Warsaw from up high, I get mixed feelings.
I always wonder what Warsaw would have looked like if it had not been destroyed during the Nazi occupation...
It was always nice to come back here.
Hope that someday I will be able to visit back and see more!
