Right in the middle of campus with a view of University Hall, built in 1869 and the oldest building on campus. |
It was a nice weather but a little changeable with some wind. The color of Lake Michigan changes a lot reflected by the weather. Here is the southern end of campus where I saw many sailboats. |

Walked along the lakeside and enjoyed a view of downtown Chicago - it could have been even clearer if the weather had cooperated. |
At lakefill you will see many joggers and bikers. On this day, I found a man playing the guitar so enthusiastically, too. |

As I was walking all around the lakefill, I found a great number of rocks with messages painted by Northwestern students. Some are maxims by famous poets or writers, and others are love quotations. |
It is very interesting to read each and every rock in various colors here and there. I saw some of them painted decades ago as dates written on. |
