Lincoln Park is the city's largest park along the lakefront and is virtually much larger than Central Park in New York City. And it is truly my favorite park next to Łazienki Park in Warsaw, Poland. I began strolling through this familiar park from the most northern corner of it. |
The golden statue of Alexander Hamilton looks so dignified and to be overlooking the Chicago skyline. The domed building in the back is the Elks Memorial. |

Lincoln Park includes many statues and among which is a statue of Goethe with an eagle near Diversey Parkway. This area was settled by German immigrants in mid-19th century and this monument was dedicated. Later at the Chicago Hitorical Society, I've come to know that "Diversey" Parkway was named after one of those German immigrants. |
Big John and the Lincoln Park Lagoon near the boathouse. I feel so good whenever I see Big John... The Lincoln Park Zoo is just minutes away from here. |
