Evanston is the rich lakeside suburb just north of Chicago and is home to Northwestern University. I love Evanston so much and some nearby suburbs in Lake County like Highland Park and Lake Forest. I wandered around Evanston feeling a little nostaligic. The above picture is on the corner of Hinman Avenue and Clark Street. |

As some of you know, this is not just any rock; the Rock is a symbol at Northwestern. It is painted in color or messages almost everyday. When I was there, it was in white. I like it better when it is in purple as it is the school color of Northwestern. |
Soon after you pass Norris University Center, the beautiful view of the lake appears before your eyes. I think this is more of the lagoon from Lake Michigan. Anyway, look at this stunningly exquisite emerald blue-green water! |
