All points of interest in Oak Park are within walking distance. Especially in a village like Oak Park that is filled with great architecture, I really enjoy walking. From Hemingway's boyhood home, Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio is just a few block away. So here it is. |

Found a head statue of Wright protruding from the rock at the gate of Austin Gardens that sorta scared me. |
Austin Gardens looked more like a forest to me. |
Frank Thomas House is right in front of Austin Gardens. Even though I am not an expert of architecture, I had gotten to recognize Wright designed houses as I was walking around this district. |
