Prague, Czech Republic - 4 |
Waited an hour for a cable car to the top of the Petrin Hill. Reached the top of the hill, I didn't necessarily have to take a ride on it as it was just a short ride. On my way back from the hilltop, I trudged down the hill looking down the pinnacles and amber-colored roofs. Petrin Hill, I think, is where you can command the best view of Prague.

Petrin Hill Observation Tower sits on the top of the hill. It looks exactly the same as Eiffel Tower in Paris, but is much smaller, only 60-meter high. Inside the Petrin Hill Park, there were gardens and shown above is the most beautiful one.

At the bottom of the Petrin hill, there was the memorial to the victims of Communism. Each statue looked skinny, sad and scary, missing a body part. Like Warsaw, Poland, Prague had many hardships especially during the World War II.
