The cell No. 2 garden is said to have been arranged based on the drawings of Sand's 15-year old son, Maurice. There were far more kinds of shrubs and flowers than the garden of the cell No. 4. |
Even cacti could be seen. It was a lovely garden! |

| I stood the garden and viewed over the mountains and the town in the far distance, thinking of what Chopin and Sand might have felt then under the difficult circumstances. |
Now the garden was filled with flowers of all types and so peaceful. |
Among all other flowers, this yellow rose looked the most appealing under the Mallorcan sun. |
