I descended the steps and hurriedly walked down to the Piazzale Michaelangelo.

At the center of the Piazzale Michaelangelo stands a replica of the David statue which silhouetted at dusk.

As the sun was setting low, the colors of the sky, the Duomo, the bell towers, the Ponte Vecchio, and other buildings were changing, lingering on as though reluctant to end the day. It felt like watching a short film with an enormous screen.

These moments, these views, I will always remember.

The sun had completely settled and the sky had turned into night as Firenze began to light up.

I had a clear view of the Duomo.

Before I left the Piazzale Michelangelo, I approached the David statue and gazed up at it like I was a swallow in Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde. It looked as if it were made of gold.

The moonlight was gently shining over David and he was watching over a magnificent city of Firenze.
